If you have a car that you are not going to use as a trade-in, please consider donating it to our Birthline center.


If the car is in reasonable running condition, we have a mechanic (Roadmaster Auto & Tire Center) who will do some work on it at their expense. We in turn, will donate the car to one of our needing clients.




How Do I Know If My Car Is Suitable To Donate?

If the car requires a large amount of money to put it into a safe running condition, Roadmaster will arrange for it to either go to an auction for whatever we can get, or to have it crushed. In both cases, Birthline receives all of the monies realized, and it will be used towards the many crisis situations we are faced with in helping a mom. Should you wish to designate how we should use this money, we will definitely honor your request.




How Do I Go About Donating My Car?

1. First, call the Birthline office and they will obtain the information needed to do the letter so that you can use this donation/gift as a tax deduction.



2. The needed information will include: the exact name on the title, the VIN #, Title # (if available), the year, make, and color of the vehicle, and the approximate or exact mileage.



3. You take the vehicle to Roadmaster Auto & Tire center at 11450 N. Huron St., Suite F, Northglenn Colorado. We suggest you call them first, at (303) 451-8811



4. Mail or bring your signed title to the Birthline office. In the buyer’s portion of the back of the title, where it asks for the amount the vehicle was sold for, write “donation”. If there are two names on the title, two signatures will be required on the sellers’ side.

Do You Accept Other Types of Vehicles?

We also accept trucks & RVs. If you have another vehicles such as a road bikes or boats, call us.




How Much Can I Claim For Donating My Vehicle?

We are not the ones to establish this amount. Call your bank to get a Blue Book value. They will advise you regarding the appropriate value to be claimed.
